1. Who we are and acceptance

Vayker is an app for organizing group trips: collaborative itineraries, shared expense tracking and splitting costs between participants.

By creating an account you state that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and to the data handling described in ourPrivacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. Sign-up and account

To use Vayker you must be at least 16 years old — users under 18 need the consent of a legal guardian, per Article 14 of the LGPD.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials safe. Activity on your account is your responsibility. Let us know if you notice unauthorized use.

3. Sharing within trips

Vayker is collaborative by nature: once you join a trip, your name, profile photo and the records you create (itineraries, expenses, balances) become visible to the other participants of that trip — and only to them.

Invitations work by PIN. Only share the PIN with people you want on the trip: anyone with the code can join.

4. Expense splitting is not a financial service

The amounts, balances and settlement suggestions shown by the app are informal records entered by the participants themselves, with no banking validation. Vayker does not process payments, does not charge fees, and these records do not constitute a debt instrument between users.

Please review your group's entries: the accuracy of each record is the responsibility of whoever created it.

5. Acceptable use and content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (photos, text) and grant Vayker a limited license to store it and display it to the participants of your trips — only as needed to operate the service.

Posting unlawful or offensive content, or content belonging to third parties without authorization, is prohibited, as is attempting to bypass the app's safeguards. Accounts in violation may be suspended or terminated.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service stable, but it's provided "as is" and may undergo maintenance and updates.

These Terms may be updated; material changes will be communicated in the app with reasonable notice. Continued use after they take effect counts as agreement.

7. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, in particular the LGPD (Federal Law No. 13,709/2018), the Marco Civil da Internet (Federal Law No. 12,965/2014) and the Consumer Protection Code (Federal Law No. 8,078/1990).

The courts of your place of residence have jurisdiction to settle any disputes, per Article 101, I, of the Consumer Protection Code.
