Privacy Policy

Written under the LGPD (Federal Law No. 13,709/2018, Brazil's General Data Protection Law). This is the same text presented when you sign up in the app — see also our Terms of Use.

1. Data we collect and why

We only collect what the app needs to function (the necessity principle, Article 6, III, of the LGPD):

• Name, email and password — creating and accessing your account;
• Profile photo (optional) — identifying participants to each other;
• Trips, itineraries, expenses and photos you record — providing the service.

The legal basis for this processing is contract performance (Article 7, V, of the LGPD). We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

2. Sharing within trips

Vayker is collaborative by nature: once you join a trip, your name, profile photo and the records you create (itineraries, expenses, balances) become visible to the other participants of that trip — and only to them. See how PIN invitations work in ourTerms of Use.

3. Storage and security

Your data is stored with cloud providers contracted by Vayker, which may involve international transfer as described in Article 33 of the LGPD. Images are kept in a private repository, accessible only through signed, temporary links.

We use technical measures consistent with Article 46 of the LGPD and Article 13 of Decree No. 8,771/2016 (implementing the Marco Civil da Internet), such as encryption in transit and authentication-based access control.

4. Your rights (LGPD)

Under Article 18 of the LGPD, you can at any time: confirm that processing is taking place, access, correct, anonymize or delete your data, and withdraw consent.

In the app itself you can edit your name and photo (Profile tab) and delete your account (Profile → Delete my account). Deletion permanently removes your own trips, photos and profile data.
